Perhaps we want to be the smartest person in our class, the best dresser, or date the person we've had a crush on for a year.
But sometimes, things may not go our way. God may have a different plan for us than the one we had hoped for or anticipated. We need to be willing to trust that His plan is superior to our own.
If we don't get the highest grade on our exam or if that person just doesn't seem to be taking as big of an interest in us as we are in him/her, we may feel rejected or fell a great deal of hurt. This does not mean that God wants us to be hurt, He may have a plan that is even better for us.
