Competition

We regret to inform sportkiters that until further notice we will not feature sportkite competitions.

Instead, my friends, we will be focusing on teaching new fliers the joys of sportkiting and supporting competitors by offering a sportkite workshop that will cater to those who are curious about competition, or those who are already in it. In fact, we will also encourage participation from competitors who attended the Perry Farm event (the weekend before) and have a collaborative peer forum on how to improve routines for the rest of the season. No doubt, the trick fliers will be out in full force. This is a perfect oppportunity to learn the latest tricks one on one - something no video or DVD can provide!

Sport kite fanatics! We'd like to welcome you back to the beautiful, 1000 acre flying complex at the AMA - site of the AKA Grand Nationals in 1999. The grounds of the AMA are kept in pristine condition by full time staff and are a pure pleasure to fly kites on. Friends, join us at the world class flying fields of the Academy of Model Aeronautics.

FREE camping on the AMA site is available to attendees.
