We'd like to invite you to a very unique and entertaining event that the entire family can enjoy. The Ansel Toney Memorial Kite Festival. Ansel Toney was a kiteflier, kitemaker and great man who was officially recognized by the State of Indiana as "Kiteman of Indiana" and has been an inspiration to kite enthusiasts from all over the country. The Hoosier Kitefliers Society is honoring his memory and family name by hosting a kite festival at the Academy of Model Aeronautics in Muncie, Indiana on May 1st, 2004. This festival will be recognized officially by the American Kitefliers Association and many great kites and fliers will be attending from all over the Midwest. The festivities will include:
The grounds of the AMA are kept in pristine condition by full time staff and are a pure pleasure to fly kites on. Come join us for two days of stress-free fun for all ages!
