The Lotus-Fitzgerald Endowment

This permanent endowment is intended to perpetuate the work of the Lotus Education and Arts Foundation for future generations. As of May 2008, there is more than $120,000 in the Lotus-FitzEndowment logogerald Endowment.

The Fitzgerald Challenge Match provides a dollar-for-dollar match for endowment contributions. This program will continue at least through the year 2010.

Make the nonprofit Lotus Education and Arts Foundation a permanent part of southern Indiana's cultural life by participating in the Lotus-Fitzgerald Endowment Challenge. Your contribution to our endowment will help Lotus continue to develop extraordinary multicultural programming that touches our hearts and changes our lives.

History of the Fitzgerald-Lotus Endowment
Michael Fitzgerald is the founding contributor of the Lotus-Fitzgerald Endowment, which was established in 1996. The Fitzgerald family also established the Fitzgerald Challenge Match, which has been a major contributing factor to the cumulative growth of the endowment since its inception. The endowment has also benefited from participation in the Matchstick Initiative of the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County.
