Edible Lotus
Edible Lotus 2008 • Friday, April 25, 6:30pm
KRC Banquets & Catering (216 S. College, Bloomington)
9th annual benefit for the Lotus Education & Arts Foundation
$100 per person; all proceeds support programming of the Lotus Education & Arts Foundation.
Edible Lotus showcases some of Bloomington's best cuisine -- from classic flavors and styles to new directions in culinary arts. Along with the food, there's great company, a silent auction, and something new this year: light-as-air (almost), sculptures by artists Leslie Noggle, Gail Hale, Deborah Klein, and LuAnne Holladay. Each table will have its own mobile art, for sale to Edible Lotus guests.
Like all proceeds from the event, sale of these specially commissioned works will benefit the nonprofit Lotus Education and Arts Foundation. In addition, selected works from the series will be shown at tutto benè Wine Café (213 S. Rogers St.) after Edible Lotus.
For tickets , contact the Lotus office (812-336-6599) or e-mail Development Director Deborah Klein: dklein "at" lotusfest.org.
