Tim's Place

Hello, glad you took the time to stop by. Hope you find what your looking for.

However, if what your looking for is not here, then, either I screwed-up or your lost. Anyway have a good time, enjoy, don't be angered by what you see here, as I know some of you will. Just remember, above all else, browse this site with an open mind, think for yourself, doubt and be skeptical.

Don't take anything on faith, accept as truth only that which is based on fact.

Although I (probably) do respect your right to have a belief, DO NOT assume that I necessarily must respect that belief.

Why is there a Tim's Place

Well I guess the best answer would be because I wanted a place where I could express my veiws and opinions.

I also want to help educate people on the issues of liberal politics, atheism, science .

My Atheism

A post over at The Two Percent Company, is one I hope all of you will read. It is a good read,,,,and one that might help you get a grasp on where I stand on the subject of religion, faith, the paranormal, alternative medicine, or any other belief.

My Politics

I am a proud Liberal, allow me to list just a few reasons why I am proud  to proclaim myself a liberal.

I am a liberal because I believe that the most important responsibility of every single adult is the care and education and love for every single child on this planet.

I am a liberal because I believe that my body and my mind belong to me and that I alone am responsible for any decisions regarding my health, my belief, my future.

I am a liberal because I believe that the information provided by a uninhibited and questioning press is the basic bulwark of any free society.

I am a liberal because I look at the night sky and realize that we are but insignificant bacteria upon a speck of dust orbiting an average star in an average galaxy among billions if not uncountable trillions of other galaxies.

I am a liberal because I believe that human labor is always superior to mere capital and that organized labor must be open to all workers.

There are many more reasons and they can be found Here

My Books

This section contains a list of book that I have read as well as, eventually,  a wish list of books I want to  read someday.

I also have included a list of all the books that I own whether read or not.

Why would I own books I have not read?

Well some are just reference books others are books I have collected over the years from one place or another that I never intend to read.
