The Real Enemy
What a mess we have gotten ourselves into. We're at war and we have the terrorists on the run on the foreign front, but, here, within our own country, where they pose the greatest threat, we don't know who or where the enemy is. In fact, we even seem unable to define just who or what constitutes the enemy.
Listening to the mainstream media leads one to believe the enemy is extremists (also known as fundamentalists) of all religions. These media people have already decided for their listeners that all roads lead to heaven (if you exclude the road of fundamentalism, that is) and what we believe fundamentally is really of no importance and is actually dangerous to others because all truth is relative, subjective and situational. Of course, a media that believes that unbiased reporting means discarding absolute truth cannot convey to you any other message.
We need a free and open press, but it is not what made this country great. What we don't need, nor should we be listening to a media reporting and discussing the news that has no fundamental values. Have you ever heard any one of the following: Brokaw, Jennings, Rather, Gumble, Gibson, Sawyer, Couric, Stahl, Wallace, or Oprah being interviewed and saying plainly and forthrightly that they believe anything close to "This is life eternal, that they might know thee, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou has sent." (John 17:3)? If they have, I have never heard them, and I wonder why so many people listen to them and take what they say and their sentiments for gospel.
We, as a people, are so confused as to what is right and wrong, even the most popular and well known evangelist of our time is seen bowing down to the god of tolerance and political correctness changing the name of his crusades to Billy Graham Missions so as not to offend the purveyors and practitioners of evil and even calling their evil religion a religion of peace and love. It is not Tolerance or political correctness that exalteth a nation, but, as God says, "Righteousness exalts a nation..." Tolerance and political correctness cannot defeat Evil because Evil neither knows, nor recognizes, nor practices the slightest tolerance. Righteousness is the only means of defeating Evil, and Righteousness cannot and will not not straddle the fence between good and evil for it is just as impossible for Righteousness to have communion with Evil as it is for Light and Darkness to court each other. Righteousness is the Light from which Evil has to flee. But we're contantly told by those "unbiased" reporters and talk show hosts that Tolerance is the road to Glory, but there's no Glory in a tolerance of evil and sin for "...sin is a reproach to any people." Proverbs 14:34. Righteousness is right doing, but how does a people do righteousness when they are told Evil is Good and Good is Evil?
Jesus Christ was a fundamentalist because He taught "I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished." Jesus Christ was also a liberal who taught us in the same discourse to "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you." (Matthew 5:18 & 44). But where does He say to open wide the doors of our house to let the enemies of freedom and equality come in and destroy these foundations of the faith that He has given us? We're at war, but we cannot or will not identify the enemy and so the enemy continues to march in through our open doors.
This incompetence or this refusal of ours to recognize and identify evil puts us at a great disadvantage because this war we're in is a religious war and only one side knows it. Jesus Christ said "He that is not with Me is against Me." (Matthew 12:30). Are the Muslims with Jesus Christ?
Read from the "peaceful" and "Holy" Koran itself what it says about Jews and Christians:
"O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people." -- [The Koran, The Dinner Table 4.5.51]; "Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them." -- [The Koran, The Immunity, 1.9.30]. "We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no authority, and their abode is the fire, and evil is the abode of the unjust." -- [The Koran, The Family of Imran 21.3.151]. These are the real Satanic verses.
The only true God says, "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." (2Cor. 3:17). He also says, "YOU SHALL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUIT ...Every good tree brings forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. WHEREFORE BY THEIR FRUITS YOU SHALL KNOW THEM." (Matthew 7:16-20). Notice that this must be an important principle for us to remember because Jesus repeats it twice in the same passage. Should we not lay the axe to the root of all trees bearing poisonous fruit?
Those who have the ear of the people seem bent on declaring the Muslim
religion a religion of peace and love, but where is this peace and love
in the Muslim countries? The Muslim religion is one of peace and love to
the followers of Mohammed and Allah only, but, all one has to do is take
the scales off his eyes and read the Koran and observe the Muslim countries,
to see that the Muslim religion is a religion of peace and love to the
believer only and that upon the unbeliever are wished only curses, violence,
and destruction. The fruit of Islam can be seen in every country where
it is in control. Only Muslims enjoy certain freedoms and some equality
under Muslim rule and, then, only if you are male. Under Muslim rule, if
you are of another faith or a woman, one risks life and liberty by expressing
one's beliefs. It doesn't matter how sincere a people are if they are sincerely
wrong and out to destroy your way of life and you, if you don't embrace
their god and their prophet, along with it. I have always been and always
will be religious liberty's foremost advocate, but it is an intolerable
idea to me to grant religious freedom
and liberty to a people who, if they were in power, would deny religious
freedom and liberty to everybody else.
How can our God and Allah be the same God when our God says Jews and Christians are His chosen people, but Allah says through Mohammed in the Koran that Jews and Christians and all unbelievers should be destroyed? How can our Father in heaven and Allah be the same God when our Father says Jesus is His only begotten Son and He says no one comes to the Father except by Him, but Muslims say that Mohammed was greater than Jesus? Jesus says, "Love your enemies." Mohammed said, "May Allah destroy them." By their fruit shall ye know them.
Never let anyone tell you what you believe isn't important because what you believe is really a matter of eternal life and eternal death and 'eternal' includes right now. "She that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth." (1 Timothy 5:6). America is a nation that is defined purely by beliefs, not by geography or race. We were striving together once to be a good and pious people but as someone once said "Piety has begotten prosperity and the daughter has swallowed up the mother." There are a lot of afflicted people in this country and around the world, but the people who need to be prayed for the most are those who are enjoying prosperity because they are the most deceived and complacent and unable to fight against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Both the federal government, the national media, and even the mainstream churches have for years been actively encouraging ethnic, racial and gender jingoism, and they seem to have forgotten that the age old rule of "Divide and Conquer" still applies. Multiculturalism and multireligiosity may seem like a nice way to go, but it really is a dangerous and foolish game that will end up tearing our Constitution apart and destroying this country unless it is destroyed by pestilence first. We Americans live in a glass house and we should no longer allow people to come into this country with rocks in their pockets. On September 11, 2001 we were very close to a national emergency being declared and with that can come martial law. One more serious terrorist act could bring both about. Many Americans are today ready to surrender some of their civil liberties for the sake of security, but can how can we bow down both to the God of the Law of Liberty and to a "tolerant" god of evil and captivity? The Eagle is the symbol of liberty and freedom in this country. In captivity, the average life span of the Eagle is 50 years. In the wild the Eagle's average life span is 30 years. Which would you prefer, to soar to great heights enjoying your God given freedoms for as long as you can, or to live to a ripe old age in a cage? Whatever happened to the spirit of "Give me liberty or give me death'? If the majority in this country get to the point where they no longer share and hold the core beliefs that made this country what it is, then, civil war will once again tear this country apart or it will have to be forcibly held together by a dictatorship. And what if that dictator were a Muslim? Would you want to live under Muslim rule? The media seems to think it wouldn't make any difference. We must chose this day whom we will serve. The real enemy is unbelief.
I am an American, but I am a Christian first, last, and always because there is only one true God and Jesus Christ who gives us the liberty and freedoms upon which our Country and Constitution are founded.
