Monroe County Fall Festival, Ellettsville, IN
The Monroe County Fall Festival is going to be held in
Ellettsville on September 18 through 20, 2008. If you would like to volunteer to
work on planning the 2008 festival Please contact the Chamber at (812) 876-6611
or Town Hall at 876-3860.
The Monroe County Fall Festival features live entertainment, queen contest,
talent contest, games, crafts, food, parade and serves as a community home
coming.
HILLY HUNDRED BICYCLE EVENT for 2008 in Ellettsville:
The Hilly Hundred Weekend Bicycle Tour will
again be based in Ellettsville
at the Edgewood High School, Jr. High School, and
Intermediate School grounds. Check out Central Indiana Bicycling
Association's website at

details about this weekend which attracts up to 6,000 riders who will enjoy the
beautiful fall colors of hilly southern Indiana.
Community Fund-Raiser:
Street Decorations
- 56 old-fashioned street lights for the new one-way pair streets
(Temperance & Main Streets)
have been installed. Ellettsville Main Street,
Inc. (a non-profit organization) will be asking for donations to purchase new banners. Tax-deductible donations may be sent
to Ellettsville Main Street, Inc., P.O. Box 143, Ellettsville, IN 47429.

State Road 46 Construction
Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 - The one-way pair through downtown Ellettsville is OPEN
for traffic.
