Attractions
- Ellettsville is only 8 miles from Indiana’s
first state park, McCormick’s
Creek, featuring the Canyon Inn, 829-4881
- Ellettsville is about
15 miles from Monroe Reservoir, Indiana’s largest lake and recreational
area.
- Ellettsville is about
5 miles from the Monroe County Fairgrounds.
- Check out the many
shops at Eagles Landing in the former Ellettsville Elementary School
on eastbound State Road 46 (Temperance Street).
- Ellettsville has a
very active youth sports organization, RBBYS, which manages the 6 little
league baseball and softball fields.
- Campbell’s Park,
Marcy Jane Lewis Park, and a Skatepark offer recreation opportunities.
- Flatwoods Park
is a 198 acre County park being developed west of Ellettsville 1.2 miles off
SR 46. It offers shelter houses, restrooms, basketball courts,

- A swimming pool is
available for public use at Edgewood High School.

- Miniature golfers can
enjoy 18 rounds at Putter’s Park, an Indiana-based course
876-8447.
